Job Description

As a key member of the SKECHERS USA, Inc. Retail Visual Merchandising team, the Regional Visual Merchandiser will travel to stores to collaborate with District Sales Managers, and Store Managers to maximize sales by ensuring strong and compelling visual presentation standards are executed. They are a key partner and liaison between stores and the Corporate Visual and Marketing Team, and their store visit recaps will be sent to Senior Leadership weekly. The Regional Visual Merchandiser will attend all key product review meetings and will be instrumental in the creation of the seasonal visual merchandising flows for all store types.

This position reports directly to a Regional Sales Manager, with a dotted line to the Senior Director of Global Retail Marketing and Visual Merchandising.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Visit stores weekly to improve visual merchandising standards and execution for footwear, apparel, and accessories. React and respond as needed throughout the country where/when needed to reestablish in store standards. Take photos of stores and provide a detailed recap with action items and deadlines. Follow up to ensure compliance.
• Lead person within geographical region responsible for new store set up and openings. Partner with New Store Opening Coordinator/ District Sales Managers for new store openings; provide flow maps to guide visual execution and leverage virtual training with store teams. Sign off on all new store flow plans and execution.
• Partner with Regional Sales Managers on all visual communication to store teams to ensure field compliance of Skechers' Visual Standards and timely execution of company directives.
• Conduct Weekly Photo Review of select stores and provide feedback in a timely manner to Store Managers, District Sales Managers and Regional Sales Managers.
• Travel to Manhattan Beach Corporate offices to attend key product review meetings and contribute to the creation of all seasonal visual flow documents (Spring, Back to School and Holiday).
• Customize seasonal flow maps for high profile stores and help to plan and set seasonal visual flows in high profile stores for all categories.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of the digital visual and marketing standards videos.
• Maintain awareness of industry trends and communicating Skechers' opportunities to create store presentations that are relevant and competitive; communicate findings to Corporate Visual and Marketing Team.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Degree in Fashion Merchandising or equivalent retail experience.
• Experience working in a retail store with footwear and apparel.
