Job Description

Skechers’ Corporate Office Team is looking for Interns that are passionate about learning, growth and gaining professional experience within their desired fields.

In this internship you will develop strong links with your department’s peers and leaders, while learning the necessary skills that will help to improve, or complete Skechers initiatives and projects. In your role as an Intern, we expect you to perform tasks in a timely, professional and strategic manner,  ask powerful questions, provide insights through research, communicate openly, problem solve and take initiative when necessary. All Interns will be expected to coordinate with their direct teams for projects and other resources to support through completion of milestones and deliverables outlined.

We are looking for someone who is team focused while also able to contribute individually; Internship opportunities may include (but are not limited to) the following areas:

• Store Design
• Information/Cyber Security
• Business Systems Analyst
• Data Engineer
• Finance
• Digital Customer Relations

• Have a clear understanding of your role and purpose within the organization
• Communicate and follow up with multiple levels of employment within the organization in a high-level, professional manner
• Consistently and accurately use all tools necessary to complete daily or weekly assigned tasks
• Collaborate with leadership and peers for assistance or guidance
• Take initiative to strategically problem solve for obstacles in assignments or initiatives
• Manage your calendar to meet all deadlines and communication requirements

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES-

• None.

Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS-

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Word)
• Ability to multi-task
• Communicate directly for guidance or assistance
• Drive the learning and development process

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE-

• Currently enrolled in college or university under desired field (Finance, HR, IT, etc.)
• Previous internships are a plus but not required
