Responsibilities: • Operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment such as jackhammers, survey equipment, and forklifts as required • Remove debris and hazardous materials to keep the job site safe and clean to meet safety regulations and OSHA requirements • Assist sub-contractors, tradesmen, and craft workers like roofers, plasterers, carpenters, painters, and electricians as needed • Carry, load, and unload tools and building materials such as sheetrock, saws, lumber, tile, grout, etc. • Tear down old structures, and build temporary structures such as signs, cones, barricades, ramps, and other devices to control traffic around the construction site Qualifications: • Certification required: OSHA 10 • Past construction experience, knowledge of construction methods, tools, and equipment and the ability to understand blueprints and construction plans are required • Equivalent, GED, or high school diploma is required - Associate’s degree, trade certification, and/or completed apprenticeship program is highly preferred • Comfortable working in inclement weather, like extreme temperatures, rain, etc. • Strong depth perception, good eye-hand coordination, and mechanical skills are helpful Compensation: $22 - $25 hourly
