We specialize in designing and constructing playgrounds that inspire creativity, promote physical activity, and foster social interaction for children of all ages. Responsibilities: • Follow all directions of the construction manager, and work with other team members to complete construction projects accurately • Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment such as survey equipment, jackhammers, and forklifts as needed • Assist sub-contractors, tradesmen, and craft workers like roofers, plasterers, carpenters, painters, and electricians as needed • Load, unload, and transfer tools and building materials such as lumber, tile, saws, sheetrock, grout, etc. • Remove debris and hazardous materials to keep the job site safe and clean to meet safety regulations and OSHA requirements • Assist in the preparation of playground sites, including excavation, grading, and drainage • Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to ensure accurate installation of playground equipment • Safely and efficiently assemble, install, and anchor playground structures, swings, slides, and other components according to manufacturer guidelines • Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other team members to ensure quality and timely completion of projects • Operate construction equipment and tools, such as drills, saws, and compactors, in a safe and effective manner • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure safety and functionality • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper disposal of materials and debris Qualifications: • Previous construction experience, knowledge of construction methods, tools and equipment, and an understanding of blueprints and construction plans is required • Able to work in inclement weather like extreme temperatures, rain, etc. • OSHA 10 certification is required • Carry a valid driver's license • This position relies on physical strength and stamina • Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction or a related field • Strong knowledge of construction techniques, tools, and materials • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications • Experience operating construction equipment and machinery preferred • Excellent communication and teamwork skills • Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Compensation: $18 - $20 hourly
