** ON THE JOB TRAINING **
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
Setting up the work zone using the appropriate safety standards.
Controlling traffic with temporary traffic signals, concrete barrier, steel barrier, message boards and much more.
Breaking down and picking up the work zone upon completion of the operation.
Operate equipment, including Forklifts, Skid Steer, Truck & Trailer combo.
Perform other duties as assigned
Properly complete quantity sheets
Skills and Qualifications
Pass pre-employment drug screen.
Pass a pre-employment DOT physical.
Have a valid driver’s license.
Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions including heat, cold, wind, rain, and dusty environments.
Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required.
Be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary.
Be able to work overtime when required.
Must have strong work ethic
Ability to work in a team setting
Communication skills; Ability to communicate with supervisors, co-workers, contractors and the general public in a courteous, professional manner at all times.
Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
Report to work at the designated start time.
Have the willingness to work in a team environment and assist co–workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated operations and production areas.
