    POSITION SUMMARY

    Reporting to the Director, the Concierge is responsible for being the first point of contact for any person that walks into the facility. Guests, Patients, Patient’s families, and anyone that needs assistance by supporting the mission, vision, and culture of the organization through positive communication.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    In addition to all components of the above position summary the following “Essential Duties and Responsibilities” are essential to successful performance in this position

    Essential Functions

    1. Contribute to Community relationships by demonstrating cooperation and professional conduct with residents, families, fellow associates, physicians, pharmacies and other vendors or persons.

    2. Contribute to team effort by being flexible in work assignments; by furnishing support; by taking initiative; and by understanding how this position affects and compliments all other Community position

    3. Able to maintain work pace appropriate to given work load. Perform activities on schedule while maintaining regular attendance and punctuality within specified tolerance.

    4. Answer phones, take message and transfer calls.

    5. Greet arriving guests in a professional and friendly manner.

    6. Answer residents' needs and requests.

    7. Maintain a daily resident log and resident emergency information.

    8. Assist with weekly packet.

    9. Answer emergency responder and fire alarm systems and take appropriate emergency steps.

    10. Schedule residents' doctor appointments and activities.

    11. Make copies.

    12. Provide information to bookkeeping for billing.

    13. Give directions and disseminate information as directed.

    14. Distribute written communications.

    15. Accept and sign for deliveries (mail, prescriptions, etc.).

    16. Coordinate guest room reservations.

    Added Responsibilities

    17. Respond appropriately to changes in the work setting.

    18. Perform other related assignments as required.

    19. May accept money for store purchase, meal tickets, etc.

    20. Be familiar with Pacifica Policies & Procedures Manual and Pacifica Associate Handbook.

    Accountabilities :

    21. Act on constructive feedback by listening to supervisor(s), customers and peers and use it to improve performance.

    22. Maintain resident, employee, and community confidentiality.

    23. Respect Resident's Rights.

    24. Demonstrate positive attitude and ability to work well with all people, particularly the elderly.

    25. Promote positive work environment that emphasizes teamwork.

    26. Demonstrate willingness to help other staff whenever needed.

    27. Follow all front desk policies concerning tracking of residents

    28. Other duties as assigned

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    The incumbent in this position has no supervisory responsibilities

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/CREDENTIALS

    · This position prefers a high school diploma or equivalent certificate and a competent history in a similar facility.

    · Must must meet requirements for continuing education and maintain all license(s).

    · Speak read and understand English fluently.
