Smart Stack Impact is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Public Relations Coordinator to join our team. The Public Relations Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the execution of PR campaigns, media relations efforts, and client communications initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with strong communication skills, a passion for storytelling, and a desire to make an impact in the world of PR.
Responsibilities:
* Cultivate and maintain relationships with members of the media, including journalists, editors, and influencers.
* Pitch story ideas, press releases, and thought leadership content to secure media coverage for clients across print, broadcast, and online outlets.
* Monitor media coverage and track editorial calendars to identify opportunities for client placements.
* Assist in the development of press releases, media pitches, bylined articles, and other written materials to effectively communicate client messages and narratives.
* Contribute to the creation of compelling storytelling content for various platforms, including social media, blogs, and newsletters.
* Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on PR activities, media coverage, and campaign performance.
* Coordinate client meetings, calls, and presentations, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
* Assist in the planning and execution of PR events, including press conferences, media briefings, product launches, and promotional events.
* Coordinate logistics, manage RSVPs, and support on-site event coordination as needed.
* Conduct research and analysis to gather insights on industry trends, competitor activities, and audience demographics to inform PR strategies and campaigns.
* Monitor social media channels and online forums to identify relevant conversations and opportunities for engagement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with media monitoring tools and PR software.
Creative thinking, problem-solving skills, and a passion for storytelling and building relationships.
