Role Description: We are looking for Snow Plow Operators to help clear snow and ice, ensuring the safety and accessibility of properties during the winter months. In this role, you will operate snow plows, ensuring high-quality results in snow removal. You will be part of a small but essential team dedicated to providing safe, clear roadways and pathways for our community. This seasonal position is perfect for individuals with experience in snow plowing or truck operation who are ready to take on the challenges of winter weather.
Required Qualifications:
Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record (MUST)
1-2 years of snow plowing or truck operation experience preferred
Reliable transportation and attendance
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, when snowstorms occur
Experience with snow plowing equipment and tools is a plus
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Capability to work in various weather conditions (snow, rain, wind) and handle strenuous physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs
Able to tolerate cold and demanding weather conditions
Responsibilities:
Operate snow plows and related equipment to clear snow from driveways, roads, and other designated areas
Spread salt and other de-icing materials as needed to ensure safe conditions
Ensure high-quality work and customer satisfaction by inspecting all work completed
Complete necessary paperwork and/or data entry for each job
Be on call during snowstorms, working various hours to maintain snow removal operations as required
Work efficiently and safely in varying weather conditions to clear and maintain roads and pathways
