Job Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Snow Removal Plow Operator to join our winter operations team. This role is essential for ensuring safe and clear roadways, parking lots, and walkways during winter weather events. The ideal candidate will be available for overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays, as snow removal operations often require immediate response during adverse weather conditions. Applicants must have a minimum of two years of experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate snow plows and other snow removal equipment to clear snow and ice from roads, driveways, sidewalks, and parking areas.

Monitor weather forecasts and respond promptly to changing conditions, including overnight and weekend operations.

Maintain and perform routine inspections on snow removal equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Apply salt and other de-icing materials as needed to enhance traction and safety.

Collaborate with team members to prioritize and execute snow removal tasks efficiently.

Keep accurate records of hours worked, equipment usage, and materials applied.

Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding operational needs and challenges.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL preferred.

Previous experience operating snow removal equipment is required.

Ability to work flexible hours, including overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Physical stamina to handle the demands of snow removal tasks.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
