JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic WEB3 AND CRYPTO EDUCATOR to join our team and teach web3 and crypto concepts to K-12 students. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and delivering engaging and interactive lessons that introduce students to the fundamental principles of web3 technologies, including blockchain, cryptocurrencies, and decentralized applications (dApps).

ABOUT THE COMPANY

The SoLa I CAN Foundation (I CAN), the non-profit affiliate of SoLa Impact, is built on a simple premise: if you can see it, you can be it. We are determined to offer South LA youth a community oriented, safe learning environment to build their career readiness and workforce skills. Our SoLa Technology and Entrepreneurship Center is bridging the gap in the digital divide by opening access to technology, entrepreneurship and leadership education for Black and Latinx youth in South LA. We are a Los Angeles based real estate private equity and social impact fund that focuses on acquiring, developing, and renovating properties in Los Angeles and we have acquired 1500+ apartments and are in progress on an additional 1,500 ground up residential units. The Fund focuses on providing quality housing in historically depressed markets and revitalization of urban neighborhoods. We have just closed our fourth fund, The Black Impact Fund, with ~$300 million raised in 2022. ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Develop and deliver interactive and engaging lessons on web3 and crypto concepts for K-12 students
• Collaborate with the instructional design team to create and revise lesson plans and materials
• Attend professional development events and conferences to stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in web3 education
• Engage with students and provide ongoing support and guidance as they learn about web3 technologies
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to improve your knowledge and skills as a web3 and crypto educator

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in education or a related field
• Valid teaching certification
• 2+ years of teaching experience in a K-12 setting
• Knowledge of web3 technologies and their applications in education
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
