    COMPANY PROFILE:

    Soccer Shots is the leader in youth soccer development for children ages 2-8. Our nationally recognized program offers a high energy, fun, age-appropriate introduction to the wonderful game of soccer.     SOCCER SHOTS COUS:

    Soccer Shots COUS (COUS) was established in 2010. COUS covers the regions of Washington D.C., Maryland, Northern Virginia, Miami FL, New York City NY, and Nashville TN. Soccer Shots Baltimore Washington stretches from Harford County, MD to Prince William County, VA. Soccer Shots Baltimore offices are located in Laurel, MD, and Fairfax, VA. COUS works closely with Soccer Shots Franchising national headquarters in Middletown, PA.

    COMPENSATION: $45,000 to $50,000 annually

    REPORTS TO: Director of Operations

    OBJECTIVE OF POSITION: To implement all seasonal operation duties related to Soccer Shots Baltimore Washington. The Manager will be responsible for the following functions:

    Season Preparation:

    Set up and maintain our core operational systems [Configio, Google Calendar, Master Spreadsheet]

    Primary responsibility is to ensure all tasks identified in season prep schedules are completed

    Coordinate routing with Coaching Managers

    Perform marketing tasks related to existing accounts [flyer drops, final reminder drops, attend back to school nights]

    Assist running Free Fun Days as needed

    Prepare account summary sheets [i.e. One Sheeters] for program details and other key information

    Create and provide Certificates of Insurance to partners as needed

    Attend seasonal instructor meetings

    Season Management:

    Execute core operational tasks during each season such as sending rosters to schools; update Configio & Google Calendar; update Session Trackers on Master Spreadsheet

    Cancel and reschedule all Private and Public classes as needed

    Act as liaison with Weekend Team for programs updates, cancellations, feedback, etc.

    Work with schools to ensure enrollment goals are met, and ensure coaches have appropriate credentials completed and paperwork provided.

    Consolidate public programs per instruction from Director of Operations

    Manage seasonal interns

    Customer Service

    Respond to all inbound parent emails and customer support tickets within 24 hours

    Respond to all inbound school director emails within 24 hours for issues related to service questions, concerns, child attendance, etc.

    Send outbound communication [email & text] to parents and school directors for cancellation notifications, rescheduled classes, delays, substitute coaches, site changes, and other important updates as needed

    Manage phones to include answering calls, returning messages, texting links to classes, calling parents to discuss issues/respond to feedback, etc.

    Keep school directors informed about rosters, coach substitutions, delayed arrivals, feedback from parents, etc.

    Communicate with coaching team regarding feedback from parents and schools regarding coaching performance, preparedness, and other feedback

    Enhance NPS scores by responding to midseason and end of season survey responses to include Detractors with specific concerns, reach out to less loyal customers who have not provided comments about how we can improve, and thank Promoters for recommending our program, etc.

    WORKING HOURS/LOCATION/SCHEDULE:

    The job description above is a full-time, exempt position requiring a minimum of 40 hours of work per week. On occasion, it will be necessary to work additional hours, including some weekday evenings and some Saturdays, to meet deadlines and to exceed goals. Your weekly agenda and schedule will be assigned by your supervisor. Many Soccer Shots programs run weeknights & weekends, and availability is paramount.

    You will be expected to work out of central office [address listed below] as well as travel to partner sites in the DMV region.

    For Soccer Shots to be the best run, most popular, and most successful program offered in DC/MD/VA

    For Soccer Shots to have a reputation of excellence. An objective measure of each territory’s reputation for quality will be learned in the Net Promoter Score survey conducted at the end of each season

    To be a Top 10% franchise in participant registration and revenue (in category) and per capita rating and to meet and exceed seasonal and annual enrollment and revenue goals

    COMPANY EXPECTATIONS:

    Prompt, reliable, and professional communication—responds immediately to customers (parents, directors, staff), and always responds to supervisor and other Soccer Shots support staff within 24 hours

    Meet weekly, seasonal, and annual timelines and deadlines. Develop systems to stay organized, keep good records, and be efficient with your time

    Meet seasonal performance goals. Go above and beyond company expectations to sell, promote and market our program prior to each season

    Provide excellent customer service by communicating through newsletters to parents, and phone calls/visits with center directors

    Adhere to all company policies and represent Soccer Shots with professionalism and integrity

    Coach sessions as needed depending on the season and minimum staffing levels

    PERFORMANCE EVALUATIONS AND REVIEWS:

    Performance will be reviewed after the first 60 days of employment

    Objectives of the position and company expectations will be reviewed quarterly through a meeting with supervisor

    Soccer Shots will perform an annual review in December of each calendar year
