Soccer Shots® is the soccer experience for children ages 2-8 years old, using an acclaimed non-competitive curriculum and great coaches. Through the beautiful game, we aim to develop character, motor skills and teamwork. Soccer Shots has earned the distinction of being named the official youth development program of US Youth Soccer due to our excellence in curriculum, coaching and communication. Our weekly sessions focus on basic soccer skills like dribbling, passing and shooting. Through fun games and positive reinforcement, children will begin to experience the joy of playing soccer and being active. Our curriculum is aligned with early learning state standards and we highlight a positive character trait each week such as respect, confidence and determination. Soccer Shots is also a member of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) and the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).

LOCATION Berkeley and Oakland

PART-TIME SCHEDULE or FULL-TIME SCHEDULE Hours between T-F, 8:30am-5:30pm (and Sat/Sun 9am-1pm) Must be available to work one day out of the weekend.

REQUIREMENTS

Responsible & Professional | communicate professionally, timeliness, clean appearance, self-assured, dependable Experienced & Enthusiastic | proven experience engaging and leading young children Fun & Creative | comfortable being goofy and imaginative with young children Patient & Empathic | must be a patient person, willing to work through behavior and learning challenges Soccer & Athletic Know-How | Soccer skill as a player or coach is preferred, but not required Transportation & Cell Phone | must have reliable transportation (driving to different locations) and mobile phone with data Clear Background | must pass a Livescan (with clear record) and health screening Education | 12 accredited ECE units in Early Childhood Development are preferred, but not necessary

DETAILS Competitive compensation starting at $20 - $30 per 30-60 minute session with the potential to make up to $40. Local candidates only please (no work status or visa sponsorship available)
