Job Description
The Social Affairs Journalist intern will cover all professional and personal development topics as well as profile entrepreneurs and business leaders of color that identify with and topically relate to The Ambony’s vision concerning our targeted demographic.
Responsibilities:
Monthly column covering career and workplace advice.
Monthly column covering personal, social, and cultural advice.
Monthly column highlighting entrepreneurs and business leaders.
Duration: 6 months
This is a virtual and unpaid internship. Yet, you will gain valuable writing experience.
Official Start Date: May, 2025
Qualifications
The candidate should have a background in business, philosophy, psychology, and/or rhetoric.
The candidate should be adept at researching and writing, topics related to personal and professional ethical quandaries and social engagements.
The candidate must be adept at relying on fact-based evidence rather than ideological wish-thinking.
The candidate should additionally cover C-Suite executives and StartUp founders. We want candidates who are constantly consuming knowledge and news about the state of advancements in the world of business and technology.
A successful candidate will be able to speak on and to executives of color and explore their journeys and their products/services while relating its relevance to our readers.
