About Us: Waxing the City – Dunwoody is a premier waxing studio dedicated to providing top-tier hair removal services in a welcoming and professional environment. We are looking for a creative and social media-savvy individual to help grow our online presence and engage with our local community.

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and innovative Social Media Content Creator/Manager to develop and execute engaging content for our social media platforms. This independent contractor role will require visiting our studio a few times per week to create fresh, local content and posting 3-4 times per week.

Key Responsibilities:

Create high-quality photo and video content that showcases our services, team, and studio atmosphere.

Develop and manage a content calendar, ensuring consistent and engaging posts.

Write compelling captions and use relevant hashtags to boost engagement.

Monitor trends in the beauty and waxing industry to create relevant and timely content.

Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions.

Collaborate with studio management to align content with brand identity and promotions.

Requirements:

Proven experience in social media content creation and management (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok preferred).

Strong photography, videography, and editing skills (basic graphic design is a plus).

Creative mindset with an understanding of social media trends and best practices.

Ability to work independently, visit the studio as needed, and meet deadlines.

Experience in the beauty, wellness, or lifestyle industry is a plus.

Compensation:

$10 - $12/Hour. (Hours per week to be agreed upon)
