Social Media Intern
Responsibilities
As a Social Media Intern, you will:
Assist in creating, scheduling, and publishing content across all social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and others.
Monitor and respond to audience engagement (comments, messages, mentions) in a timely and professional manner.
Collaborate on brainstorming sessions to develop innovative social media campaigns and strategies.
Analyze performance metrics and prepare reports to evaluate the effectiveness of social media initiatives.
Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and audience preferences to inform content strategies.
Support content creation, including writing captions, designing graphics, and editing photos/videos.
Maintain a consistent brand voice and aesthetic across all platforms.
Stay updated on emerging social media tools and trends, suggesting how they can enhance our presence.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
Familiarity with major social media platforms and their best practices.
Proficiency in social media tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar scheduling platforms is a plus.
Experience with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) or video editing software is highly desirable.
Strong writing skills and a keen eye for detail.
Creative thinker who is eager to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Basic knowledge of analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, or Instagram Analytics is a bonus.
Passion for social media, storytelling, and building community connections.
