Position Title: Social Media Manager Campus: Mesa
Reports To: Marketing & Communications Director Status: FT-Exempt
Position Summary:
The Social Media Manager balances focus on increasing brand awareness through the effective use of social media outlets and manages the social media accounts in best practices through a proactive approach. The Social Media Manager must be a forward-focused, team player with a faith-filled attitude. The role reports to the Director of Marketing and Communications. The Social Media Manager will direct the organization toward its primary objectives for all social media initiatives and projects based on the goal to reach people through the story of community and connection.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (text, photos, videos, etc.)
Monitor all metrics and analytics reporting monthly (all social accounts) to Marketing and Communications Director
Establish and execute process and systems for consistent engagement and engagement on all platforms
Collaborate and execute all strategies for social channels
Using social media marketing tools to create and maintain Central branding
Analyzing Central’s digital marketing plan and social media strategy and identifying strategic weaknesses and making recommendations for improvements
Researching social media trends and informing management of changes that are relevant to
Setting goals for social media campaigns, such as targets for a certain number of shares or likes and measuring a campaign’s performance against those goals through metrics
Monitoring and strategically placing paid ads via all platforms.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Preferred: three to five years of related experience
Adaptable personality that can be flexible in fast-paced work environment
Ability to deliver content accurately and efficiently
In-depth knowledge of social media channels
Familiarity with Sprout Social + all Meta platforms + X + TikTok
Analytical and ability to multitask
Exhibits good listening and comprehension, excellently expresses ideas and thoughts in written form
Keeps others adequately informed, and selects appropriate communication methods
Dependability and commitment to quality outcomes for Central
This position is connected to the faith and ministry of the church and moves forward the vision of Central Christian Church.
Responsibilities:
Maintain information accuracy of external website.
Assist and train personnel, joyfully, in utilizing tools for web content creation.
Monitor web presence end to end.
Assist in web content creation when needed.
Manage large scale electronic communication, email and social media.
Design web software solutions with and for ministries, build solutions when able.
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
Familiarity of large scale content/relationship management systems.
Knowledgeable or proficient in major and relevant web technologies.
Market awareness as to what tech tools are available and their capabilities.
Customer service experience required namely frustrated and or irate customers.
