Job Description
The Social Media Manager will support the execution of SoulCycle's organic social strategy, with a focus on day-to-day content management, asset production and creation, and community engagement. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented creative who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for fitness, wellness, and digital culture.
Content Calendar Management
- Execute daily posting schedule across Instagram and other social platforms, ensuring consistent brand voice and timely delivery
- Support content planning and calendar updates, flagging opportunities for optimization and engagement
- Coordinate with various teams to ensure all assets are prepared and approved for scheduled posts
Asset Creation & Production
- Support the creation of social-first content, from Instagram Stories to TikTok videos
- Coordinate with design and content teams to ensure timely delivery of assets
- Maintain organized asset libraries and ensure all content meets platform specifications
- Assist in planning and executing content shoots, including coordination with relevant teams
Community Management & Reporting
- Monitor and engage with community across all social platforms, responding to comments and DMs within established guidelines
- Track and report on key community metrics, including response times and sentiment
- Identify and escalate potential issues or opportunities from community feedback
- Compile weekly performance reports and contribute to analysis of content effectiveness
Team Support & Collaboration
- Coordinate with Marketing, Creative, and Studio teams to support campaign execution
- Maintain organized documentation of processes and best practices
- Support influencer coordination and community events as needed
How You'll Be Evaluated
3-6 months:
- Master content management systems and publishing tools
- Establish efficient workflows for content scheduling and community management
- Demonstrate understanding of brand voice through community engagement
- Contribute to the optimization of content performance through data analysis
6-12 months:
- Take ownership of daily content execution and community management
- Show initiative in identifying content opportunities and community insights
- Support successful campaign launches with efficient project coordination
- Develop deeper understanding of social strategy and performance metrics
