Job Title: Social Media Manager
Job Overview: We are seeking a creative, results-driven Social Media Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy, managing our online presence, and ensuring that our brand voice is consistent across all platforms. You will collaborate with the marketing and design teams to create compelling content, engage with our audience, and grow our social media following.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute social media strategies that align with the company’s marketing goals and brand identity.
Manage and oversee social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) to ensure consistent and engaging content.
Create and curate high-quality content (posts, images, videos, and stories) that resonates with the target audience.
Monitor social media trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to keep content fresh and relevant.
Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster positive relationships with the community.
Analyze social media performance and use insights to optimize campaigns and improve engagement.
Collaborate with the marketing team to promote new products, events, and initiatives.
Plan and execute social media advertising campaigns, including budgeting, targeting, and performance tracking.
Work with designers and copywriters to ensure all content is aligned with the company’s brand voice and messaging.
Prepare monthly reports on social media metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations for growth.
Stay updated on the latest social media tools, trends, and best practices to ensure the company’s social media presence remains competitive.
Manage and schedule social media content using tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful social media campaigns.
In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and best practices for engaging content.
Strong writing, editing, and communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, etc.).
Experience with social media advertising and paid campaigns (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.).
Creative mindset with the ability to develop original ideas and content.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
Ability to analyze social media performance data and make data-driven decisions.
Basic graphic design skills or familiarity with tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
Knowledge of SEO and content marketing is a bonus.
Additional Skills (Optional):
Video editing skills or experience with platforms like Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro.
