We carry thousands of mall and luxury brands at up to 80% off regular retail prices. We aim to make fashion more sustainable by giving life to gently used clothes that aren't being worn anymore. We're looking for a part-time Social Media Specialist (digital content creator) with at least 15 hours of availability each week to increase engagement, following, and awareness across our three Uptown Cheapskate locations and one Kid to Kid location. Kid to Kid is a similar resale franchise concept offering children's apparel, toys and baby equipment.     Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement
    • Manage social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, and Tik Tok.
    • Create and curate engaging content for social media platforms
    • Monitor social media trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency across all channels
    • Analyze social media metrics and generate reports on performance
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices and industry trends

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience as a Social Media Coordinator or similar role
    • Proficient in using social media management tools such as Business Suite and Canva.
    • Basic knowledge of Canva for creating graphics and visual content
    • Experience in video editing is a plus
    • Strong understanding of social listening and relationship management
    • Excellent proofreading skills with attention to detail
    • Knowledge of photo editing is preferred
    • Basic understanding of public relations principles
