Job Description: Turning Point Action's Media Department is seeking a Social Media and Content Specialist. The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to brainstorming creative content ideas and working collaboratively with TPA's media team, executing on all tasks for social media management, as well as providing quality control and placing content for all TPA social media channels. This person should have an advanced understanding of TPA's social media presence, be creative-minded, have extensive knowledge of party politics, and have the ability to execute all necessary tasks related to social media management.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and execute social media strategy across platforms based on current trends.
• Execute requests by being the running point for all posting and social media needs.
• Stay extremely informed on relevant news and media.
• Track social media engagement and insights.
• Brainstorm and research ideas for original content.
• Create on-brand content that adheres to TPA's brand guidelines.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Good problem-solving abilities and exceptional communication skills.
• Highly organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work in the office at our Headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona.
• Strong and efficient writing skills.
• Passion for conservative ideas and principles.
• Ability to occasionally travel

“WOW” SKILLS:

• Has a personal following on social media and/or stays up to date regularly on trending topics.
• Has experience working on political campaigns or organizations.
• Prior involvement with Turning Point Action, its affiliates, and/or political campaigns
