    Job Description

    Come join us during the Summer of 2025 at Country Fresh Meats as our S ocial Media and Retail Store Marketing Intern! You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience learning the business through production and retail training, managing projects, and working with the Country Fresh Meats Sales team members.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

    • Grow social media presence/profiles.
    • Moderate comments across social media profiles.
    • Maintain consistent editorial calendars to promote the company brand on various social media platforms.
    • Understand the overall concepts of the company including brand, customer, and product goals through assisting on the production line, retail, and sales departments.
    • Assist in creating performance reports.
    • Dairy Days Champion: Goal is to create traffic and awareness of Country Fresh Meats Retail Store.
    • Dairyland Balloon Jubilee event organization and activation with a plan for bounce back to the store.
    • Attend company events to create content and assist in promoting the brand.
    • DSD Training Manual Assistance – Create ways to sell in high take rate on Country Fresh Meats Curds and other items.
    • Will assist DSD team delivering product with an early rise. 5 to 15 days which you learn selling in product as well as flow at retail locations.

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

    • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills; must work effectively with all levels of management and employees.
    • Advanced knowledge of popular social media platforms from a brand perspective.
    • Demonstrative knowledge of effective leadership, problem solving, presentation, and employee motivational skills.
    • Self-Starter
    • Proficient in Internet navigation, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
    • Available to work 40 hours per week June 1st, 2025, through August 10th, 2025 with overtime.
    • Valid driver's license and insurable
    • Ability to travel to other locations

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Currently in 2nd through 4th year of college graduate program or a recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree in digital communications or related field such as marketing or graphic design.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT :
    The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The work environment is a plant / office setting with varying degrees of temperatures and noise levels. Exposure to manufacturing equipment movement and wet / slippery floors. Travel may be required.
