Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee consumer intake and enrollment processes
Develop, schedule, and coordinate a wide range of recreational program activities and staff trainings
Assess participants’ abilities and interests to ensure appropriate access to programs and community resources
Manage all aspects of the recreation program, including staff scheduling, training, and procurement of materials and resources
Build and maintain partnerships with local businesses and organizations to support program goals
Collaborate with participants, families, and care teams to support the implementation of person-centered goals
Ensure a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all participants
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum 1+ years of experience in event planning and/or coordinating activities or related experience
Knowledge of human behavior, individual differences, motivation, and learning strategies
Proficiency in using computers and mobile devices, including navigating common software applications, web browsers, and mobile apps.
Associate degree (AA/AS) preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
Valid First Aid and CPR certification
Must have a clean driving record and the ability to pass a background check
Strong communication and leadership skills, with a passion for inclusive and engaging programming
