    Sock It to Me is seeking a Seasonal Kiosk Assistant to join our dynamic team and work at the best little sock company in the world! (Well, we think so, anyway.)

    The Seasonal Kiosk Assistant will grab the reindeer by the horns and help Santa deliver socks to our mall kiosk locations in Salem Center (Salem) Washington Square, Pioneer Place, Clackamas Towne Center and Lloyd Center during the 2017 Holiday Season. This is an hourly, non-exempt position.

    This is a seasonal position, approximately 20-40 hours per week for the period of October 16, 2017 – (on or before) January 5, 2018. This position will start the season working exclusively from Washington Square Mall, then move to shift coverage for all kiosk locations.

    Qualifications:

    To execute this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.     Deliver sock inventory to all kiosk locations

    • Open availability to workholiday mall hours, including nights, weekends and extended business hours

    •  Kiosk shift coverage - be on-call to covershifts at any of the kiosk locations

    • Cash handling and accuracy- make bank deposits and provide change for kiosk registers

    • Assist with interviewing and hiring associates for kiosk locations

    • Sell socks while providingsuper mega awesome customer service

    • Process customer transactions (experience with “SQUARE” a plus)

    • Monitor product inventory levels and uphold merchandising standards

    • Other duties assigned by supervisor

    Additional requirements:

    • Must have a reliable carand excellent driving record

    • Previous retail experience, management/supervisory experience a plus

    • Must own a smart phone

    • Must be 18 years or older

    • Must be able to lift up to25 lbs

    • Register (POS), cashhandling experience and basic computer skills are necessary

    • Ability to clearly communicate clearly and respectfully with customers and co-workers

    • Must pass a backgroundcheck.

    • Knowledge of our companyand a love for socks is important. The right candidate will be a special mix ofnerd + fun.

    Compensation: $13.00/hour, mileage reimbursement, SITM employee discount.
