About Us: D-BAT Virginia Beach is dedicated to developing young athletes and fostering a love for the game of softball. We are seeking passionate and knowledgeable softball instructors to join our team. Our goal is to provide high-quality training to players of all skill levels and help them reach their full potential.

Position Overview: We are looking for enthusiastic softball instructors who can teach various aspects of the game, including hitting, fielding, catching, and pitching. However, we are currently experiencing a high demand for pitching lessons, and candidates with a strong background in pitching instruction will be prioritized during the hiring process.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct individual and group lessons for players of all ages and skill levels.

Focus on techniques, mechanics, and strategies, while also addressing other fundamental skills as needed.

Develop customized training plans to meet the specific needs of each player.

Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to help athletes improve.

Communicate with parents about player's training sessions.

Foster a positive and supportive learning environment.

Stay updated on the latest coaching techniques and trends in softball.

Qualifications:

Previous experience playing college softball or significant coaching experience.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes.

Knowledge of current softball techniques and training methods.

First Aid/CPR certification is a plus.

Ability to work nights and/or weekends
