    Our team is looking for an eager Full Stack Software Engineer to help expand our growing technology footprint. This role will require frequent collaboration with our internal team as well as with external vendors to successfully implement and maintain Ally's software and technology efforts. The right individual in this role will have strong creativity and problem-solving skills, an ability to deploy their technical expertise to solve a variety of issues, and a data-first, analytical mindset.

In this position, you will be a part of the team that builds out exciting and impactful technologies that shape the freight brokerage of the future. CapacityNOW is our existing proprietary full truckload pricing engine. Enhancing, maintaining, and extending this tool through adding powerful new features/ functions, as well as coding API connections to new Ally clients will be a big focus within this role. This tool aggregates data from various sources to provide accurate real-time pricing to our customers and internal stakeholders.     PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:

    • Develop and deliver high-quality front and back-end code
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify areas of improvement within our existing pricing tool and elsewhere within the organization
    • Collaborate with external vendors to develop new features as well as identify and fix existing problems in code
    • Quickly resolve issues as they arise
    • Effectively utilize our internal data to make our software smarter

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    A successful candidate must possess the following traits/skills:

    • 3+ years of relevant experience
    • Proficiency in Javascript
    • Familiarity with API design, development, and integration
    • Experience with DevOps
    • Experience with Git
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
    • Excellent organization skills
    • Attention to detail and willingness to test thoroughly
