Job Description

Interco is seeking a versatile Software Developer to join a dynamic team with the responsibility of building automated web-crawling software. This position calls for a strong command of programming fundamentals with a focus on Python. The ideal candidate will have experience building software from the ground-up and will possess an advanced level of proficiency with several programming languages and the React framework. The position is full-time and will require the candidate to work on-site Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

Responsibilities Include:

• Design and develop automated web-crawling software with Python
• Write clean, maintainable code for web and/or mobile applications
• Translate Figma wireframes into dynamic user interfaces using the React framework
• Proactively document code structure, design choices, and implementation strategies
• Collaborate with team members for API integration and version control

Qualifications

• In possession of a technical degree, Computer Science or similar
• High level of proficiency with Python and extensive project experience
• Experience with the React framework and design tools such as Figma
• Experience developing software in a collaborative setting using git for version control
• A strong attention to detail with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team
• Minimum of one year professional experience post graduation

Additional Information

Compensation :

• $55,000-$65,000 Annual Salary

The Interco recycling facilities are separated into three departments: nonferrous metals, computers and electronics, and battery processing. The nonferrous facility is located on the 40-acre main campus in Madison (IL) while the computers and electronics are processed in Edwardsville where the Administrative and some logistics offices are located. The commercial department is located on The Hill in St. Louis.
