    • Ability to manage multiple projects, with varying timelines, in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

    • Experience developing embedded software and networking solutions.

    • Microsoft Project experience.

    This full-time role is about making an impact on people’s lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Software Development Supervisor in Lynchburg, VA (remote work, up to 20%, will also be considered), you will be part of the proven team in the NDE Services Business Line in the Installed Base Business Unit. IBN (NDE Services) Engineering is a multi-disciplinary engineering product development group developing advanced and custom remotely controlled, robotic manipulators and controllers for our nuclear utility customers to perform non-destructive examinations of components within the power plant. Your work will include:

    • Daily front-line supervision and advanced technical support for a team of software developers and support staff in the NDE Engineering organization.
    • Estimating, planning and scheduling of software development work
    • Supervising the workflow; performing technical reviews of the software and documentation to ensure quality
    • Helping the team navigate technical challenges
    • Ensuring adherence to project budgets and schedules
    • Leading the team in providing technical support and troubleshooting to those using the software in the field; and personally performing some software development projects.
    • This role is in a fun, fast-paced work environment with opportunities for a lot of hands on work and getting to see many robotic tooling systems built and deployed every year!

    Your Total Rewards Package

    The range of base salary for the position is between $110,000 - $149,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
