Software Engineer/Senior

Our client is looking for a skilled software engineer with a focus on application support and optimization. The right candidate will possess strong technical skills, including programming languages and domain-specific languages. The Software Engineer is adept at troubleshooting, problem-solving, and collaborating with customers to deliver effective solutions. This individual will have experience in software engineering principles and practices and ensure they can contribute to efficient and high-quality development efforts.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

• 6-10 years of relevant experience.

• Languages: Java, SQL, Python, Shell Scripting.

• Frameworks/Libraries: AWS SDK, Spring, Maven.

• AWS Services: ECS, S3, IAM.

• Software: Docker, Gitlab, IntelliJ IDE.

• Bachelor’s degree specializing in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), or a closely related field, from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of directly related education and/or experience.

• Grafana/OpenSearch experience (or other monitoring/alerting tool).

• Preferred experience implementing/following security controls in a security-sensitive environment (from a government agency or other company with a well-defined security posture).

• Experience with security tools and remediating vulnerabilities (SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, etc.) is nice to have.
