JOB DESCRIPTION:

The core goal of Araceli Biosciences is to accelerate drug discovery by bringing advanced, AI-driven tools to the market. To help our customers accelerate discovery, Araceli is building a dynamic, fast paced team whose goal is to drive the drug discovery revolution.

Araceli is looking for a Software Engineer who will be a self-starter with extensive experience writing and maintaining low-level, highly-performant, C/C++ code. They will be a strong contributor with experience and expert knowledge of techniques for optimizing code execution. The candidate should possess the ability to work both independently and in a cohesive, fast-paced team with great communication skills. This role will be developing highly sophisticated applications with a team goal of crafting groundbreaking image analysis software.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Developing highly performant C/C++ middleware desktop applications.
• Collaborate regularly with the product and engineering teams on application features.
• Develop, test, debug, deploy, and monitor your code through all states of the software development lifecycle.
• Interact with other team members on best practices for code development, debugging and maintenance.
• Updating applications in line with user trends and feedback.
• Port Python analysis software into C/C++.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or similar field, or 5+ years of meaningful, relevant experience.
• Demonstrated ability (5+ years) with object-oriented programming.
• Required languages: C, C++.
• Familiar with Python, C#, Typescript, and HTML.
• Experience with multi-threading in C/C++.
• Experience with Visual Studio.
• Experience using concurrency versioning systems such as git.
• Experience writing unit/developer tests.
• Experience creating and maintaining test infrastructures.
• Familiarity with image processing and machine vision.
• Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude with great problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced iterative development environment.

JOB LOCATION:

This role is expected to work hybrid during regular business hours. Our office is located in Tigard, OR (on Tech Center Drive off 72nd).
