SUMMARY
Develop and support various products and platforms in Atec company enterprises in a constantly evolving environment.
Support existing systems both remotely and on-site, review and improve software as required, support technical leads in
research and development efforts for future software products and assist in new product/business developments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide adequate software support to end-users and technical leads for current and legacy systems. Atec's software
products are used widely around the world and thus software engineers are required to be knowledgeable in each system.
Develop and maintain software applications using multiple programming languages.
This role involves organizing and managing code repositories using version control systems like SVN, participating in
design reviews, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented codes that adhere to company standards.
Ensure proper versioning and documentation of code changes.
Organize and maintain codebases using SVN (Subversion) version control system.
Participate actively in design review meetings both internal and external as required.
Provide constructive feedback and contribute to the improvement of software designs.
Prepare and update technical documentation, including design specifications and user manuals.
Document code changes and development processes thoroughly.
Identify, analyze, and resolve software defects and issues.
Perform unit testing and support system testing activities.
Work closely with other software engineers, QA teams, and project managers.
Assist in the integration of software components and third-party programs.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Attention to detail and delivery of high-quality work.
Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment.
Ensure activities are conducted in accordance with Atec International Standards Organization (AS9100/ISO) policies and
correct and report any deviations to appropriate area manager/supervisor.

Be familiar with and understand Atec Quality Policy and company objectives.
Understand required AS9100/ISO specific Procedures and Work Instructions.
Complete all records required by Procedures and Work Instructions.
Participate in Atec Continuous Improvement activities as appropriate.
Participate in AS9100/ISO training as required.
Cooperate with Auditors.
Report any deviations to appropriate area manager/supervisor.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or university; or minimum two (2) years to four (4) years or
more of related work experience; or combination of education and experience.
Proficiency programming languages including C/C++, Python, and LabVIEW.
