    Job Description

    Software Engineer II – Mobile & OTT

    NBC Sports Next is looking for a passionate Software Engineer II to join our GolfPass Mobile and OTT team. As a key contributor, you’ll help build high-quality, high-performance apps across platforms, including Android, iOS, and OTT devices like Apple TV, Roku, and Fire TV.

    What You’ll Do

    • Develop exciting new features for our multi-platform GolfPass video app.
    • Collaborate with Product, QA, and fellow engineers to deliver a seamless user experience.
    • Participate in architectural discussions and build reusable, scalable components.
    • Write clean, maintainable code following modern development best practices.
    • Engage in SCRUM meetings, code reviews, and technical design sessions.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across devices and platforms to ensure product stability.
    • Contribute to the expansion of our CI/CD pipelines and deployment tooling.
  • Qualifications

    What You Bring

    • 3+ years of experience in mobile app development.
    • Strong background in React Native, TypeScript, Kotlin, and Swift.
    • Ability to implement frontend features using REST APIs and third-party integrations.
    • Eagerness to master mobile and OTT platform fundamentals, from design through implementation to release.
    • Ownership mindset with the drive and autonomy to deliver high-quality solutions.
