Job Description
The Red Gate Group is seeking a seasoned Software Engineer II to support DARPA's Adaptive Capabilities Office (ACO). You will play a pivotal role in research, design, and development of advanced software solutions addressing critical national security challenges. Collaborate with top-tier professionals in creating innovative architectures and methodologies for highly integrated capabilities in contested environments.
Qualifications
Active TS/SCI
Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field such as engineering or mathematics (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems)
Possess Agile Developer certification or Certified Scrum Developer certification
Three (3) years of professional experience with research, design, and development of computer and network software or specialized utility
programs which may include database maintenance within an application area.
Experience applying programming concepts in a professional or academic setting and notable experience with applying modern software development methodologies (e.g. agile, DEVOPS/DEVSECOPS) in a professional or academic setting
At least three (3) years supporting research and development (R&D) Department of Defense (DoD) programs
Demonstrated skill in conceiving, planning and conducting research in problem areas of considerable scope and complexity requiring unconventional or novel approaches and sophisticated research techniques
Demonstrated ability of make decisions independently on research and development (R&D) engineering problems and methods, and of resolve important questions and of plan and coordinate work
At least three (3) years of experience working in DARPA or similar organization is highly desirable
