    AET is urgently seeking a TS/SCI cleared (with the ability to obtain/ maintain a poly), Mid-level Systems Engineer based out of St. Louis, Missouri with Software Engineering background to lead the systematic engineering approach to ensure timely and accurate processes and functioning. The Senior Systems Engineer will guide engineering teams in conducting threat modeling, employ cybersecurity software, and conduct risk assessments to detect and analyze cybersecurity threats, attack software as it is developed to ensure security is built in while it is created using secure coding and work with DevOps engineers to ensure security vulnerabilities are assessed and fixed during development and share knowledge of threats with the IPO team.

    Duties may include:

    · Perform and assist with agile engineering activities such as backlog grooming, Release Planning Events, Program Epics, and Minimal Viable Product functions generation in Confluence, JIRA task management.

    · Guide Mid-level and Junior-level system engineers performing requirements engineering, solutions engineering, scheduling, reliability, resiliency, services development, integration, test and evaluation, maintainability and analysis across the NSG, ASG, and Federal Agencies.

    · Guide the planning, analysis/traceability of user requirements, architectures traceability, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review cloud service capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations.

    · Conduct AoAs, CoAs, Trade Studies, and Engineering Assessments.

    • Lead Needs and Collection Management software cyber security design and development.

    • Analyze software development for cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.

    • Analyze current Needs and Collection Management systems/services and provide recommendations and alternatives to ensure cybersecurity.

    • Analyze Needs and Collection Management cybersecurity metrics and provide recommendations to eliminate vulnerabilities.

    • Identify and recommend Needs and Collection Management improved cybersecurity tools, processes, and models to reduce vulnerabilities.

    • Facilitate program epic planning, ensuring inclusion of cybersecurity objectives.

    Required: · Requires a Top-Secret/ SCI Clearance (absolute must) with the ability to obtain and maintain a Polygraph.

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree.

    • Mid-level experience in DevSecOps processes, practices, tools, and methods.

    • Demonstrated experience with DevSecOps culture and practices.

    • Demonstrated experience with Ruby, Perl, Java, and Python.

    • Be able to commute to St. Louis, Missouri (In-Person)

    Desired: • Demonstrated experience with Puppet, Chef, ThreatModler, Checkmarx, Immunio, or Aqua

    • Demonstrated experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Amazon Web Services.

    • Certified DevSecOps Engineering (DSOE).
