    Job Description

    The Software project manager is overall responsible for the project's delivering of Software Solutions systems within the given timeframes of the project – both in terms of functionality, technology, schedule, and budget. This can include both internal deliveries, and commitments due from external sub suppliers.

    The Software project manager is responsible for managing the development and supply of a Software Solutions systems according to the customer contract and is in close coordination with the project manager for the overall project.

    It is the Software Project Managers responsibility to ensure that our Software projects follow the BEUMER Group Stage-Gate Model, as well as BEUMER's project processes + quality management systems (BGMS) throughout the entire project lifecycle.

    Must be able to travel up to 40% of the time for extended periods, domestically and internationally.

    ** Responsibilities:**

    • Manage Scope, Time, Cost, and Quality
    • Manage Risk
    • Manage Stakeholders and Communication
    • Manage Customer Expectations
    • Manage both internal and external sub suppliers
    • Manage the software project team and its team-members
    • Manage Software specifications and design
    • Manage Software development
    • Manage Software testing and on-site commissioning.
    • Regular project follow-up and reporting
    • Comply with the BEUMER's Stage Gate Model and Quality standards defined in BGMS

    Key Performance Indicators

    • Software scope of the project is within approved budget.
    • Software scope of the project is on schedule.
    • Solution delivered according to Company quality standards.
    • Solution delivered according to Company processes.
    • No unexplained or unrecorded out of scope or rework throughout the project (managing scope creep)
    • Lessons learned collected and documented throughout the project.

    Functional Expertise:

    • Basic knowledge of functional area (Project Management and BEUMER processes) and basic knowledge about our Software products and solutions.
    • Fluent in English

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Educational Background:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field.

    Experience:

    • Professional experience in software project management.
    • Leadership experience preferred.
    • International exposure or work experience is a plus.
    • Experience in the Warehouse & Distribution/Material Handling industry is a plus.

    Additional Qualifications:

    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.
    • Familiarity with relevant Software development methodologies (e.g., Agile SCRUM).
    • Professional experience with Software project management and related organizational skills
    • Project schedule, cost, scope management, documentation. Impressive ability to organize and deliver on project deadlines and responsibilities.

    • Ability to work and collaborate with a team in a professional manner.
    • Ability to concisely audit & document issues and drive the team to maintain quality.
