Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Solar Installation Project Manager to oversee and manage solar installation projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in solar energy, excellent project management skills, and the ability to lead a team of installers, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the full lifecycle of solar installation projects, from planning and design to execution and completion.

Coordinate with clients, engineers, and installation teams to ensure project goals and deadlines are met.

Oversee site assessments, permitting, and procurement processes.

Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely and efficient project execution.

Monitor project budgets, making adjustments as necessary to stay within financial targets.

Ensure all installations comply with local codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.

Lead and mentor installation teams, providing guidance and support as needed.

Resolve any project-related issues or conflicts promptly and effectively.

Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates and addressing any concerns.

Prepare and present project status reports to senior management.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Project Manager in the solar industry or a related field.

Strong knowledge of solar installation processes, equipment, and best practices.

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, etc.).

Familiarity with local building codes and regulations related to solar installations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.

PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
