As a Solar Photovoltaic Installer at Scout Solar, you will play a crucial role in the installation and maintenance of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. We are looking for motivated individuals with a strong work ethic and a commitment to learning.

Key Responsibilities

Install photovoltaic (PV) systems in accordance with codes and standards, using drawings, schematics, and instructions.

Handle and maintain tools, equipment, and materials used in the installation process.

Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards at all times.

Assist with the assembly and mounting of PV modules, inverters, and other system components.

Install module array, and interconnect wiring.

Assist in troubleshooting and resolving system issues as needed.

Monitor PV system performance.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Solar Installer or Electrician experience of at least 1 year

Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.

Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.

Excellent teamwork skills.

Understanding of hand and power tools.

Ability and willingness to commute regularly to Boonsboro and Hagerstown
