    Job Description

    WHAT DOES SOLARI CRISIS & HUMAN SERVICES DO?

    Solari Crisis & Human Services, Inc. is an award-winning nonprofit that operates a 24/7 crisis line serving Maricopa county as well as Northern Arizona. Our mission is to Inspire Hope through our talented and compassionate staff.

    Since 2007, Solari has been providing crisis contact center services and in that short time has helped thousands of individuals and families connect to the help they need. Additionally, in that short timeframe, Solari has grown to expand services to a peer-run Warm Line, Serious Mental Illness (SMI) determinations, mobile team dispatches, crisis transportation services, emergency room-based assessments, Department of Child Safety (DCS) rapid response and crisis stabilization services, telephone follow-up to those who need it, tragedy support lines and other in-kind services to the community.

     

    WHAT WOULD YOU BE DOING?

     

    Completes both inbound and outbound related calls specific to COVID-19 Contact Tracing. Documents caller need, provides appropriate follow-up and resources and gathers pertinent data as directed by project/funder. Ensures outreach and response/support occurs in a timely manner. Responsible for clear and consistent documentation, referrals and outcomes.

     

    • Provide phone-based high-quality confidential information, referral and advocacy related to health, social services and infectious disease. This may involve providing scripted information about symptoms, how to access medical care and connect to appropriate services.
    • Provide follow up services as appropriate for callers related the the needs identified within the initial call(s).
    • Coordinate with other CRN lines of business to ensure each caller is connected to the most appropriate service.
    • Accurately document all customer interactions using web-based software systems.
    • Utilize recognized professional & agency standards at all times. Maintain professionalism in working with sensitive client information.
    • Other duties as assigned

     

    COVID-19 VACCINATION REQUIREMENT - As required by Executive Order 14043, Federal contractors are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 regardless of the employee's duty location or work arrangement (e.g., telework, remote work, etc.), subject to such exceptions as required by law. If selected, you will be required to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and submit documentation of proof of vaccination or you will need to provide documentation to request a legally required exception.

     

    WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

     

    • High school diploma or equivalency and 2 years of full time behavioral health work experience
    • Associate's degree and at least 1 - 2 years of full time behavioral health work experience
    • Bachelor's degree, behavioral health experience is not required
    • VALID FINGERPRINT CLEARANCE CARD REQUIRED
    • 1 - 2 years of prior call center experience strongly preferred
    • Strong organization skills
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Effective listening skills
    • Public speaking and presenting skills
    • Computer literate
    • BILINGUAL SPANISH PREFERRED
