Solder Assembly Technician
M-F 7:00am - 3:30pm
Solder Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling and testing electro mechanical equipment, specifically pressure transducers.
Strong electronic assembly aptitude and skills and be comfortable working with hand interconnect wiring and soldering, precision measuring and component assembly.
Perform work from test procedures, engineering drawings, and manufacturing process plans. Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical areas. Assembles, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. - Demonstrated dexterity to assemble (under microscope)/ small components into an end-product following work instructions. Use of test and measurement equipment, (able to operate Oscilloscopes and interpret displayed information). - Perform basic mathematical calculations such as; multiplication, division, rounding off values, including the ability to work with fractions and decimals. - Basic understanding of electrical circuits - Problem solving skills/troubleshooting skills - Ability to stay focused and detail oriented.
Required: HS Diploma 2+ years of solder connecting electrical products. Self-Starter and can-do attitude. Ideally clean-room assembly experience. (not required) Must have good dexterity and hand-eye coordination for interconnect wiring and soldering, precision measuring and component assembly.
Bonus skills: Experience with instrumentation (Pressure controllers, Lab View) is a plus. Graduation from a two year technical school is highly preferred.
