    Schedule: 4/10 Work Schedule (Monday – Thursday, 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM)
    Pay Rate: Starting at $21 per hour

    Job Description:
    We are seeking an experienced Solderer with a minimum of 5 years in electronic assembly. The ideal candidate will be proficient in soldering both through-hole and surface-mount technology (SMT) components. The individual must demonstrate a high level of skill and precision, passing a soldering test that includes a J-STD board with a mix of through-hole and SMT components.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform high-quality soldering on electronic assemblies, including both through-hole and SMT components.
    • Adhere to IPC and J-STD-001 standards for soldering and assembly.
    • Inspect and verify the quality of solder joints, ensuring compliance with applicable standards.
    • Collaborate with team members to ensure production targets and quality metrics are met.
    • Follow detailed work instructions, schematics, and blueprints to assemble and solder components.
    • Ensure work is performed within safety guidelines and standard operating procedures.
    • Maintain clean and organized workstations to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in electronic assembly and soldering.
    • Must pass a soldering test involving a J-STD board with a mix of through-hole and SMT components.
    • Previous or current certification to all modules of J-STD-001 is preferred.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions.
    • Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Must be reliable and punctual with the ability to work a 4/10 schedule (Monday – Thursday, 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM).

    Preferred Skills:

    • Knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards.
    • Familiarity with ESD safety practices.
    • Experience with hand tools, soldering irons, and microscopes for fine pitch work.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while performing repetitive tasks.
    • Fine motor skills for precision soldering tasks.

    Compensation:

    • Starting pay rate: $21 per hour, with potential for growth based on performance and experience.
