Located in Houston, Texas, Solugen has created the world's first carbon negative specialty chemicals manufacturing facility: the BioforgeTM. This manufacturing technology leverages Solugen's chemienzymatic process to convert biobased feedstocks into high performance products for water treatment, agriculture, infrastructure, and personal care. MISSION:
Solugen has a rich pipeline of high performance and carbon negative molecules launching on its BioforgeTM manufacturing platform. Each molecule is destined for a corresponding pipeline of products co-created by Solugen's customers and product development teams. The Intern will have an insight into industrial heterogeneous catalyst development. This individual will set up a reactor system at the Solugen lab. This person will collaborate with Product Development, Analytics, Process Development and Sustainability. This work will allow the intern a better understanding of the relevance of catalyst manufacturing, characterization and testing for process development from an R&D perspective.
