    We are currently looking for an INDUSTRIAL OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE - OLYMPIC PENINSULA REGION

     

    WHAT YOU WILL DO:

    • Support/Manage large existing accounts which are broken down by vertical markets. Example: Food and Beverage, Wood Products/Pulp & Paper, Aerospace, etc. within the Everett, Seattle, or Tacoma areas
    • Manage and grow market share of existing, assigned, and new accounts by developing relationships with key decision-makers in those accounts
    • Create and implement NC-specific business plans with key vendors/customers to include goal setting and account-specific strategies such as sales, growth, and market share
    • Promote key vendor’s products as well as our internal business segments such as our Energy Solutions Division and our Supply Solutions Group through proactive product marketing, training opportunities, and joint sales calls
    • Champion our switchgear lines both ABB and Siemens and aggressively identify opportunities months/years before these projects go out to bid. Document those in our CRM and actively start persuing those opportunities
    • Champion our AB and control offerings. Work closely with the Industrial Sales Manager and Specialists to identify, solicit, bid, and write opportunities
    • Communicate, mentor, and work closely with the inside support staff to optimize customer service and maximize account penetration and sales

     

    WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

    • 2 years Outside Sales experience or 4 years Inside Sales experience as a top performer
    • Competent working knowledge of Electrical Distribution, Automation, and commodity-type products
    • Competencies in Microsoft Platforms: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.
    • Strong organizational and planning skills
    • Honest, self-motivated, outgoing, positive attitude, good communicator, team player, professional in appearance
    • Willing to travel and work the necessary hours

     

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    • Frequent computer and telephone use
    • Driving to customer offices, job sites, vendor, NCE functions/meetings/events
    • Occasional heavy lifting – up to 50 lbs
    • Occasional out-of-town travel
    • Office and job site environment
