JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Enter, track, follow up & expedite sales orders, quotes & sales leads
- Support the inside and outside sales teams
- Promote add-on sales
- Contribute to inventory and gross margin improvement opportunities
- Participate in the negotiation, renewal, and maintenance of pricing contracts
- Promote Service Center sales programs, goals, and initiaves (DOTP, WebStore)
- Participate in product training
- Identify and communicate inventory recommendations
- Quote and manage small lighting and gear projects
- Relationship building with Will Call customers
- Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPECTATIONS:
- Committed to 100% accuracy and doing tasks right the first time (DIRTFT)
- Customer service focused
- Ability to work directly with customers and suppliers
- Able to work independently, handle multiple tasks, and prioritize
- Computer literate in Adobe, Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Able to utilize internet to get product information from manufacturer websites for submittal information
- Ability to work with manufacturer provided software for pricing and product information.
- Detail oriented
- Ability to learn manufacturer pricing programs
- Great written and verbal communication skills
- Able to use (or learn) NCE order entry software program Solar
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Frequent computer and phone use
- Standing and lifting in support of counter sales
- Some warehouse environment; cutting wire products, lifting conduit
- Usual 40-hour work-week Monday through Friday however based on business needs evening and weekend hours may occasionally be required
- Requires punctual regular and reliable on-site attendance
