    We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager based out of our Pennsauken, NJ location. 

    Duties:

    • Responsible for managing the lifecycle of small to medium lighting projects which may include quoting through completion.
    • Review submittals and confirm accuracy of the information including, but not limited to, pricing, sku, quantity.
    • Work with Estimators to understand the requirements of the project to ensure that work proceeds on-spec and help facilitate a smooth transition with the customer.
    • Where project control is in jeopardy, create contingency plans with appropriate input from key team members and implement a revised project schedule, scope or budget in a timely manner.
    • Ensure all processes of the project development and schedules are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Generate and maintain change orders for the customer and vendors in a timely fashion.
    • Notify customer and/or Projects Team when the scope of a project changes; also include the impact or implications to the project.
    • Identify, track, manage and mitigate risk on specific customer projects. Escalate these issues when necessary to ensure minimal impact to quality, budget, and timeline.
    • Resolve all disputes associated with issues as they arise throughout the project process. Work with customers, vendors and other internal departments to proactively resolve problems.
    • Understand our pricing model and billing procedures.
    • Recognize and facilitate opportunities to grow project’s profitability.
    • Manage project budgets while ensuring timely and accurate invoicing from vendors and to customers.
    • Manage customer orders from time purchase order is secured through acknowledgment to final billing including expediting, change orders and billing resolution.
    • Negotiate change order cost with vendor and sell with customer.
    • Foster and maintain positive, effective business relationships with internal and external customers and other third parties at all levels and project phases.
    • Communicate effectively with customers to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.
    • Retain a professional/friendly business relationship with the customer, vendors, and internal associates.
    • Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen customer relationships.
    • Develop and improve processes that enhance the customer experience.
    • Review returned project submittals and facilitate any required material or equipment changes in accordance with submittal comments.
    • Create, or participate in the creation of, project documentation.
    • Keep accurate records of all transactions.
    • Organize and manage project documentation in such a way that it is accessible to all relevant parties.
    • Communicate in a professional manner over the phone, in person and through writing.
    • Inform relevant individuals of both positive and negative information.

    Skills/Requirements:

    • Ability to speak, read, and write proficiently in English.
    • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
    • Knowledge of electrical products.
    • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
    • Maintains confidentiality of proprietary and sensitive business information.
