Director of Payer Partnerships, Workers Compensation

Pay Range: $100,000 - $120,000 plus annual bonus. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
JOB PURPOSE:
The Director of Payer Partnerships, Worker’s Compensation is responsible for developing new business opportunities, growing CorLife’s share in the worker’s compensation industry, establishing and maintaining relationships with insurance companies and third-party administrators. Responsible for obtaining and maintaining contracts, including negotiating new reimbursement rates and renegotiating existing reimbursement rates to ensure that payer fee schedules are adequate to ensure company can obtain the appropriate profit margin for orders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
§ Identify and cultivate untapped business opportunities by educating prospective insurance companies and third-party administrators about CorLife’s ability to coordinate and provide ancillary services to their members with catastrophic injuries in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
§ Prospect new leads, cold call within territory & network to gather leads.
§ Identifies and collaborates with the Executive Director, Worker’s Compensation to create proposals and execute agreements when applicable.
§ Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
§ Prepare lost business and territory sales forecast reports.
§ Liaise with the CorLife Account Managers building a strong partnership by communicating new growth opportunities.
§ Collaborate with internal and external customers to validate consumer needs and identify potential technology solutions.
§ Manage and document sales funnel and reporting progress and strategies within CRM platform.
§ Meets all set productivity and performance standards while keeping abreast of requirements and technological advances within the worker’s compensation industry.
§ Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE :
§ Bachelor’s degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education and directly relevant experience may be considered.
§ Experience negotiating contracts.
§ Proficient in Microsoft Products.
§ Excellent relationship building skills.
§ One year of outside B2B sales or any clinical/medical office experience.
§ Proven sales track record with strategic territory, account planning and CRM experience.
§ Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
§ Excellent listening, consultative and presentation skills.
PREFERRED COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS :
§ Working knowledge of Workers Compensation and local payers’ documentation preferred.
§ Experience in the DME, Complex Rehab Technology, Home Health, Pharmaceutical, or Wound Care fields preferred.
§ Bilingual.
§ Ability to thrive in a self-starter and results-driven environment.
§ Ability to demonstrate product knowledge.
§ Ability to concentrate and remain focused while handling multiple tasks, responsibilities, and projects.
