Job Description
The Sourcing Manager is responsible for sourcing the company’s strategic ingredients/supplies, maintaining sourcing policies, negotiating costs and contracts with the suppliers and ensuring the suppliers meet their commitments. The role works cross functionally with other teams, including Replenishment, Operations, Marketing, Distribution, Transportation and Finance. This position will coordinate with team members and processes to deliver projects on time, within budget and with the desired outcomes aligned to objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Evaluating buying procedures and presenting improvement strategies to senior management for approval
• Driving purchasing decisions based on cost and scenario analysis, as well as market trends
• Collaborating with the cross-function team to identify and pursue new ingredients and new supplier opportunities
• Conducting market research, as well as creating cost estimates and forecasts
• Oversees and maintains current inventory
• Researches, analyzes, and forecasts current and future buying trends, markets, styles, and products, with attention to specified target market and demographics
• Develops and maintains relationships with wholesalers and suppliers
• Assesses financial risks of purchases

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, logistics, or in a related field or four years of retail experience
• Proficiency in sourcing software
• Communication skills to include ability to collaborate and negotiate
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Analytical and strategic thinking abilities
• Strong grasp of Hana Group standards, mission and core values
