The Sous Chef is responsible for day-to-day culinary operations in a professional kitchen, maintenance of quality standards, as well as supervises storage, stocking, and sanitation procedures.
Responsibilities:
Quality control of food leaving the kitchen
Assist with daily specials
Assist with menu item creation
Assist in management and training of new personnel
Assist with scheduling and performance reviews
Keep up to date with new products and preparation techniques
Qualifications:
At least 3 years of experience in a professional kitchen, similar style restaurant preferred
Positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure
