    We are seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join the culinary team one of our upscale establishments! As the Sous Chef, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Executive Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional quality and creativity in our seasonal menus.

    Responsibilities:

    · Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing day-to-day kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking techniques, and plate presentation, maintaining the highest standards of quality and consistency.

    · Collaborate with the Executive Chef to create and execute innovative menus that showcase the restaurant’s culinary vision, utilizing seasonal ingredients and unique flavor profiles.

    · Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff to ensure adherence to recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.

    · Uphold stringent standards of food quality, freshness, and sanitation, ensuring compliance with food cost percentages through meticulous planning and ordering.

    · Work closely with the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional dining experiences, accommodating special requests and dietary preferences with precision and professionalism.

    Qualifications:

    · Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Sous Chef in an upscale or fine dining restaurant.

    · Strong culinary skills with a passion for creativity and a keen understanding of contemporary culinary trends.

    · Leadership abilities with a collaborative and motivational approach to team management.

    · Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.

    · Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and sanitation practices.

    · A culinary degree from an accredited institution is a plus but not required.

    · Food Manager or Serve Safe Managers Certification is required.
