Full Job Description:

At South Island Periodontics and Implantology, a periodontal and implant specialty practice, you’ll find a team dedicated to helping patients! As a Dental Hygienist, you will be an integral part of the care & service we provide to our community. Our patients’ health & satisfaction are core values at our practice. You can feel comfortable being supported by a Dentist team that approaches care comprehensively and helps educate patients on all options. This position is part – time to start with an opportunity for full time in the future. Experience with Dentrix and Dexis is a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Periodontal maintenance (adult), Scaling and root planing, oral cancer screenings, OHI

Digital radiographs

Compliant with stringent sterilization protocols

Provide an exceptional patient experience

Required Education/Experience:

Registered Dental Hygienist License (Required)

Local Anesthesia Certification (Required)

Nitrous Oxide Certification (Required)

Job Type: Part-time to start with an opportunity for Full time

Schedule:

10 – 30 hours per week

We have flexibility in number of days and selection of days of the week including Friday and some Sundays
