Spa 23 Fitness and Lifestyle Aquatics Program is currently looking for a full time Aquatics Director for our high demand program helping over 700 swimmers a week to become water safe. We are specifically seeking a director who has experience managing a large program with multiple variations of offerings. You must be passionate about swimming for safety and sport. Experience teaching, coaching, managing a team, speaking with customers, and organizing for efficiency are required. The right individual for this position will be an integral part of a team of swim instructors working in a competitive but cooperative area of our facility. The opening responsibilities will be to teach, guard, and sell our Swim School classes. Director development will be focused on managing the entire program for Swim School, Private Lessons, and Competitive Clinics. Our team is passionate about how we teach and communication is key with staff and members to keep everything flowing smoothly.

The ideal candidate will have the following traits and experience:

· Effective and clear communication skills

· Passionate about making swimmers water safe

· Integrates well with competitive staff

· Brings a fun element to work

· Organized and detail oriented

· Willing to go above and beyond to do the right thing

· Flexible with working hours

· Minimum of 3 years teaching/coaching experience for swimming

· Certified in Red Cross Lifeguarding

· Experience managing a team

Position duties include:

· Teaching and Guarding Swim School classes

· Answering and returning calls for potential swimmers

· Placing swimmers in our program

· Keeping pool area neat and organized

· Promote our program at off-site events

· Being an integral part of the team

· Performing daily required tasks for efficiency

· Organizing Swim School rosters and scheduling

· Working midday to after school hours and one weekend day per week

Schedule:

· Midday to early evening weekday shift

· Monday to Friday after school hours

· One weekend day

Compensation: $55,000.00 - $100,000.00 + per year including commissions
