    Spa Soak Receptionist Position

    Located in the heart of the vibrant Bucktown/Wicker Park community, Spa Soak is not just a wellness spa; we are a sanctuary dedicated to holistic health and personal transformation. Since 2006, we have been providing expert holistic care and results-based treatments, fostering an environment where our clients can restore balance, energy, and peace of mind.

    As the first point of contact for our clients, our receptionists play a very crucial role in embodying the values and mission of Spa Soak. We are looking for a passionate, engaging individual who thrives on making meaningful connections and understands the importance of exceptional client service.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Greet clients warmly and ensure a welcoming environment, acting as the embodiment of Spa Soak's commitment to our community.

    Manage booking appointments, inquiries, and maintain client records with attention to detail.

    Provide information about our services to clients, helping them to understand the full range of offerings at Spa Soak.

    Open and/or close the Spa according to procedure, ensuring everything is prepared for the day’s services or securely closed down at night.

    Maintain a neat, organized reception and waiting area, reflecting the calm and healing environment Spa Soak is known for.

    Assist with other related tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a team-oriented attitude to support Spa Soak's operations and client experience.

    Coordinate with our team of wellness professionals to ensure a seamless and exceptional client experience from arrival to departure.

    The Ideal Candidate:

    Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships effortlessly.

    Is interested in holistic wellness and eager to share this passion with others.

    Exhibits a high level of organization, attention to detail, and professionalism.

    Shows initiative in creating a positive environment and enhances the client experience.

    Has experience in customer service, preferably in a wellness or spa/salon setting.

    Schedule:

    10-20 hours/week — weekends required.

    Must be available every Friday, Saturday, and possibly every other Sunday.
